Małgorzata Oleńko

child and adolescent psychologist

I am a graduate of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Warsaw and the School of Training and Psychological Workshop at the INTRA Center for Psychological Assistance and Education in Warsaw. I have completed numerous courses, including the Basic Solution-Focused Therapy Course, the Basic Course in Integral Therapy at the Institute of Biofeedback and Noo-psychosomatic, a qualification course in behavioral therapy, and the “Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Children and Adolescents” course.

For the past 22 years, I have been working individually and in groups with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in conducting workshops in areas such as integration, interpersonal communication, assertiveness, creativity development, and stress management. I also have experience in delivering training sessions across various fields.

I have conducted psychology workshops at the "Prometeusz" Post-Secondary School in Warsaw and Katowice, focusing on interpersonal communication, assertiveness, and emotional regulation. Additionally, I worked as a psychology lecturer at the Mazovian Regional Teacher Training Center in Warsaw, as well as at the School of Economics and Business (a post-secondary school).

I have developed my professional experience by collaborating with various organizations and centers providing psychological support, including:

– the “KRA” Association, where I facilitated psychoeducational workshops with parenting skills elements for parents, as well as joint sessions for parents and children to practice the methods learned,
– a day-care center for people with Parkinson’s disease, where I led workshops for patients and their caregivers in interpersonal communication, assertiveness, and the development of social skills and competencies.

Between 2007 and 2013, I conducted workshops co-financed by the European Union, including:

– working as a family assistant in the “New Horizon” project,
– personal development training as part of the “Academy of the Modern Teacher” project,
– soft skills development for teachers in the “Competence Academy” project,
– delivering lectures on individual psychological work and group work within the “New Skills – New Quality of Life” project.

I also worked in a center for people with disabilities, where I conducted individual sessions with children and adolescents as well as group workshops within programs such as “The Road to Oneself – The Road to the World” and “The Road to Independence.” This experience gave me valuable insight into the specifics of working with individuals with disabilities.
