Agata Żurawska
cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist
I am a psychologist (a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw) and a psychotherapist currently undergoing a 4-year psychotherapy training program at the CBT-EDU Center, which is recommended by the Polish Society for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy.
I have also completed postgraduate studies in Psycho-oncology at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
I have gained professional experience in various settings, including a Social Welfare Center, a Home Hospice, the Mazovian Specialist Health Center in Pruszków, and the Ezra Mental Health Clinic in Piaseczno.
I work with adults and adolescents over the age of 16. I also provide support to patients diagnosed with cancer at every stage of treatment, as well as to their loved ones.
In my work, I place special importance on creating an atmosphere of openness and safety, which provides a stable foundation for our joint efforts to improve quality of life. Your personal story is at the heart of our work – the methods and techniques I suggest are always tailored to your individual needs.
I work under regular supervision and am a member of the Polish Society for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy. I am continuously developing my skills and regularly participate in trainings.
In my free time, I enjoy being with loved ones, especially surrounded by nature and animals. I have a deep appreciation for Italian cinema.
Lately, I have also been eagerly exploring the practice of yoga.
